He is a B.Sc graduate with Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management and an MBA. He comes with 26 years of Sales & Marketing experience. He worked for 11 years with Ballarpur Industries glass division later taken over by the world leader in glass manufacturing companies, Owens Brockway, a MNC where he gained extensive experience in the field of Sales & Marketing. He was pivotal in setting up the first of its kind plant then in Pondicherry. He was the first to introduce the embossed glass containers to India through large business houses like UB, HLL, SmithKline Beecham, McDowell etc.

He then worked for the fragrance chemical company M/S Camphor & Allied Products Ltd. for 7 years as General Manager. During his tenure he has created the platform for the global positioning of their products. He gained valuable knowledge and experience in the field of aroma & fragrance chemicals. He is presently overall in charge of both the plants in Peenya and Dobaspet. |

He completed his Masters Degree in Applied Chemistry from Cochin University of Science & Technology. He then worked with SmithKline Beecham and Reckitt & Colman at their R&D centers as a product development scientist where he gained valuable knowledge and experience in the field of Pharmaceuticals and Aroma Chemicals. |
| He joined Sami Labs Ltd. in 1994 and initially worked in various capacities on the product development and manufacturing of a range of chemicals and herbal extracts. He is the responsible person for bringing up this setup successful in establishing the aroma chemical business. |

He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India-FCA, Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries-FCS and P.G. in Commerce. He has around 20 years of experience in the field of Corporate Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Company Law & Corporate laws. Prior to joining, he worked for Von-roll Isola, Al-Futtaim, Cincinnati Milacron and Foras Energy Joint Venture Companies in India. He is currently CFO of Sami Labs Ltd. He is involved in strategic, corporate Finance and corporate laws of the company. |

He did Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver Canada. After completing his degree he worked as post doctoral fellow at the University of Wisconsin, Madison USA for three years. Has over 35 years of industrial experience working in four leading multinational pharmaceutical companies. He was head of R&D divisions in Wyeth and GlaxoSmithKline where he gained extensive expertise in process development and other drug monomers used in high speed combinatorial chemistry for discovery of new drugs. During this association with multinational companies he gained valuable experience in making R&D a business driven process linking projects with present and future business of the company.
For the past 4 years he has been associated with synthetic R&D department of Sami Labs as Senior Consultant. In Sami Labs he is involved in process modification, development of synthesis of chiral molecules for export and synthesis of new polypeptides for cosmetic applications. He is now associated with Organica Aromatics as Senior Consultant in optimisation of manufacturing process of existing aroma chemicals and development of new fragrance chemicals. |
